Hi, I'm Sarah Brown and as part of our music BTEC course, we have to put together a recital that lasts a minimum of 10 minutes. We have to perform a solo piece that is of a grade 6 standard or higher. In this blog, I will be taking you on a journey through each of my rehearsals and showings you what went well, how I could improve in my next rehearsal and also the part that I thought were good but still needs a little bit of work. I will also show how I solved the problems I have faced.
As we could perform our solos using any instrument or technique I decided that I was going to have a combination between singing and playing my trumpet. The songs I have decided to perform is,
